| Walkway-About PlaySpace is a unique community project conceived of by the Art in Public Places standing committee of the Citizens’ Council for the Arts in conjunction with the Friends of Head Start and the Harding Art Park Association. An ongoing collaborative project which was started in 2001, the creation of this unique PlaySpace provides children, parents, teachers, artists and community members an opportunity to explore, create, discover and participate in a community public art project. The transformation of a simple pine grove to an inviting, artistic, fanciful art endeavor enhances the neighborhood as well as provides a beautiful setting for play and contemplation. |
